About HandiExchange

In 2008 I was speaking with my son Jason who was looking for a special type of sports wheelchair so that he could get more exercise and have a bit of fun at the same time. The problem, it seemed, was that he was having a great deal of difficulty finding anything used, even online. He felt sure that there were people out there that had the type of wheelchair he was looking for. He also felt that if there was a website covering the U.S. and Canada where people could post their extra equipment for free to donate, sell or trade it, those with disabilities would put it to good use. Made a lot of sense to me too. This would be a service that could benefit the entire community.

Well that is the need that got HandiExchange.com started and we estimate there are over a million pieces of good used equipment in storage across the U.S. and Canada that could be used by someone else.

Now that HandiExchange is finally operational, we are in the process of getting word out across the U.S. and Canada to all those that either have excess equipment in storage they wish to list on the website, or that are in need of equipment at a cost far less than new.

Now for a bit about the team behind HandiExchange.

Edward Addy Edward Addy - CEO & Sr. Programmer

I have been active in the business community for over 20 years. I have served as president of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, as well as being a current member and past president of the East Range Centennial Rotary Club. I find helping others, especially children, most rewarding.

I enjoy traveling, cooking, fishing and watching movies. I am a past treasurer of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce and a current member and past secretary of the East Range Centennial Rotary club. I enjoy being active in the community and helping others.
Jason Lindahl Jason Lindahl - Display Advertising Sales
I have over 10 years of experience in sales and customer relations. I currently work full time for AT&T mobility and will be assisting with sales here at HandiExchange. I am glad to be a part of this project, not just because it was my suggestion that got it started, but because I believe that HandiExchange will be a big help to those with disabilities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

I enjoy spending time with my 2 children, traveling, movies and keeping busy.
